You'll be reaching your two year anniversary on this thing soon. Am I supposed to believe that in order to make a case as good as tritons then it has to take two years?

Course now, for a guy like me, it might. Image

Are you gonna bring this to MGC?

well i made a little bit of progress on this at MGC! i got the hinge placement nailed down so the case opens and closes properly. i will be working on straightening out the front shell a little bit as well. its slightly warped, but the deflection is minimal. at most 1/4 of an inch/ on the internals front i got the LCD disassembled and i've decided to rewire the LED backlight from serial to parallel so that i dont need to source 18v  that means i can use a TI boosting converter to run the whole thing off one 3.7v li-ion cell. this should be easier and more efficient than the GBO DC converter board i was trying to use before!

I'm really looking forward to seeing more progress on this. The best projects are always the ones that require seasoning for many years in large oak barrels. Long portable builds are also good  You know I actually have a cousin who can walk and speak who is younger than this project. Just saying.
