The only thing rarer than an n64DD is an N64p with an EXP port still on it. XD

hahaha Nice one SS.
I'm totally loving this thing. It was worth the money, by far. Probably one of the best things I've ever bought.
If any of you were ever thinking about picking one up, do it. Just not mine, as its MINE! :3

if i ever come across one that is cheaper than yours (to the point where i can justify buying it) i totally will get one. and here i was thinking i was cool for owning dobutsu no mori (animal forest/animal crossing) for n64 but this is way cooler, and more expensive lol, i paid under 25$ for this game

It might be hard to get one cheaper than mine haha. Since I got mine at a steal already. Check 64dd.com forums for deals. Once in a blue moon, someone may sell one for cheap.
I'm still trying to get a 64 portable for cheap (or make one), so I can make the first 64p with 64dd attached . (Either buy another 64dd or get silly and just attach it in its current case hahaha)

Make an entire N64p inside a 64dd case with the 64dd still functional. I bet it has space.HotDog-Cart wrote:It might be hard to get one cheaper than mine haha. Since I got mine at a steal already. Check 64dd.com forums for deals. Once in a blue moon, someone may sell one for cheap.

In all seriousness I wouldn't even open an n64dd, those things are just too rare to break the several year buildup around the screws.

I've seen faulty cheap 64dd's go on yahoo japan in lots of like 3-4 for less than $200.
rarely but still there.

yeah there is really no reason to open it (unless it breaks), and absolutely no reason to hack it up. I think it would be neat to relocate the expansion port on the portable 64 so it fits into the DD like a docking station though.
