Keyboard/trackpad combo, PS3 compatible??

during my far off planning stages of future projects i might want to consider, i came up with an idea of making a PS3 laptop (original right??) and i had an idea of incorporating a keyboard and touch pad combo device, to be used in the OtherOS portion of the system. anyway, i know theres no way of knowing the answer to this without testing it, but does anyone think this device would work with the PS3??
