Change wii DVD drive with an PC DVD drive

Hello to everyone...

So i was thinking about if there is any way to change the original wii dvd drive with an orginary PC DVD drive.

Anybody can help?

Completely different interface, you can't use a PC drive directly in place of the Wii's DVD drive.

Since CG and Wii use a slightly different DVD format, there are only a few select PC DVD drives which are even capable of reading the data off a Wii disc.
