You can get apt-get working as well as a large majority of the nice open-source software available on Ubuntu.

But I really love the build quality of Mac computers. Solid as a rock, and OSX is a pretty easy OS to use. I just abuse my hardware so much that I prefer using expendable $100 netbooks with TinyXP.
