they don't use paypal, but they do accept credit cards and if you are afraid of doing that online you can always order over the phone.

I thought that was only for the zn-45's. Did they quit giving out samples of everything?

I was told in my last email, no free samples. Could be for all of them or just some. Don't know for sure ????

The samples ad is still on their website, so I'd imagine it wouldn't hurt to at least call and see if you could get a sample "for your electrical engineering company".

It's all the stupid people who ordered 5 free samples over and over and ruined it for the rest of us. So a big thank you to all the jerks out there :wtf:

Hi MarioOwnsAll, We do sell through Allied Electronics (alliedelec.com) but I don't believe they take PayPal either. I have seen a few of our products advertised on eBay but unfortunately, I cannot access that site at work to see if anyone is currently offering an SL-68. Sorry this doesn't seem to be very helpful at all

As to the samples: I'm sorry, we can only send free samples to our business partners, to test for quality and fit before buying larger quantities. It's kinda like how Cold Stone Creamery lets you taste the ice cream flavors before you buy a sundae. But even they don't give you a whole sundae ... If there is no likelihood you will buy more parts in the future, then the part is no longer a test sample, but just a free sundae.

Let me know if there's anything else I can try to help with,
~Resa

Ya I guess I could have used a better phrase

Typically design engineers working on consumer projects. We sell to hobbiests, engineering and design schools, and even overseas. Just the other day I had a Chat with a 12 year old boy in the Netherlands working on a portable GameCube. He bought 3 ZN enclosures so he could have spare parts, even paid for the shipping. (I also told him to visit some of the forums to see what you guys have been able to do here.)

Unfortunately, as some of you have said, the free sample policy has been taken advantage of so we had to put some limits on it. 8)
