If you grab two of those it will work. The PS1 needs 7.4v.

I just remembered i wanted to know if i could cut the remote in half and then connect them together with wires, and then cut a hole in the side of the case and plug the remote in the nomall spot so i dont have solder the remote to the system.

sorry for not posting I got the ps1 and and controller and hooked it up good on the back and got the right battery but acsidently connected the negetive and positive wires backwerds so now the ps1 does not work. I connected the controller to the fat ps2 and it works so I will still use that controller but need to get a new L1 and L2 button. Oh and how do I post pics here? thanks!

If you reversed the polarity, it should of not blown...

Sony is smart unlike Microsoft

Uh, well then to me it sound like you blew the Batteries/Protection Circuit. Test the Voltage output VIA a Multimeter and see if you get a reading.

To post images, there is a tool bar at the top of the text area. Click 'Img', and then you will see these. [/img] < Which you then add your image link between.

So, for example -

or,

Thanks

That is so true though.

Hey to correct that link on the first page, Use this:

Code: Select all

it just says better at the beginning.

If you need 3.3 volts for the LED's, there is a pinout I can share that tells you were I found 8, 3.3, 5 and 6 volt positive lines...
