A Dreamcast to fit into a Sega Genesis. Can it be done?

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

A Dreamcast to fit into a Sega Genesis. Can it be done?

Ok. I want to know if it's possible to take apart a Dreamcast, fit it inside an empty model-2 Genesis, and make it work?

I also would like to take apart the DC controller and take apart a Genesis controller, and fit the guts of a DC controller inside a Genesis controller.

If you think that it'll work, please give me any helpful information.

Thanks.

Well, I don't really expect anyone to spoon-feed me any answers. To be honest, I've never modded any console before, so I don't have any previous knowledge on the subject.

I guess I need to be a little more clear. Given the size to the guts of the DC, and the size of a model-2 Genesis, does anyone think that the DC will fit inside an empty model-2 Genesis?

I've seen YouTube videos of the guts of a DC. They look rather small, and I would think that it may work out.

I'd like to do the project for this year. When I get around to it, I'll post a video of my progress.

do you have a genesis? do you have a dreamcast? do you have a measuring tape/ruler/dial caliper/*insert measuring device here*? i think you can figure out where this is going  off the top of my head i know the model II genesis is thinner than a dreamcast but it might be workable. i stuffed a PSX into an n64 shell once lol

NO! NO! Why god why? Why do bad people exist?

why would you want to mess with the dreamcast? it's beautiful as it is. the only thing i can see that would improve it is portablizing it.

It will be a tight fit (huh huh, hey beavis, he said tight fit) but it should be doable (huh huh, doable).

It might work better, though if you have a second revision dreamcast without the separate board for the gd-rom drive.

What was SEGA thinking using a GD-ROM Drive instead of a DVD-ROM Drive?

Oh wait. They RUSHED the most best console in the world to exist, and ruined it because they did not wait for the technology

You will be ruining a great and excellent games console.

I mean, tell me this - HOW DID THE GAMECUBE BEAT THE DREAMCAST WHEN IT DOES NOT HAVE A DVD-ROM EITHER? (Not yelling)
