Digging the casework clarky! very nice. should turn into something quite nice in the end, just wondering how thick your case is? looks a bit thick in the pictures, but hopefully it's comfortable to hold!

Yes, please leave it alone.

And clarky, what do you mean "that's all for now"? It looks like you're finished! I love how you added the Nintendo logo on the cart slot and the N64 logo on the top! What are the dimensions on the case?

Can't wait for the next update!

Excellent stuff, I love the case and how smooth it looks, and the board trimming/rewiring is very clean.

The inside looks very tidy, good work.

Now that you got the hang of it, how small can you make your next one? It looks like you are capable of making something pretty awesome. Vacuum form yourself a case maybe, cut down those boards, rewire the expansion pack so its flat...

Thanks guys!!

I'm glad now that I took the time to add the nintendo logos to the case. I wanted to give it a kinda official look. Although it looks nearly complete I've still got to:

Finish tidying up the case and paint it
Buy a suitable battery and wire in
and wait for my new screen to arrive as the other I bought was a pile of ....

The dimensions are:

Height 12cm
Width 17cm
Depth 5.5cm (8cm with cart slot)

In all honesty, the key to getting it smooth is time. Just keep applying thin layers of bondo, sand, another thin layer, sand etc.. until you FEEL with your finger a flat surface. Also sand diagonally and changing from one way to the next. This helps feather out any lines you usually see after applying primer or the final coat of paint.

Hope this helps!

More progress soon I hope.
