Will this work! PS1 fits PERFECTLY into this Dvd player, but

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

It would need AV in. So if you were to hook up something like a VCR or a game system, it could display on the screen.

After opening it up you should be able to tell. Hopefully since it has a/v out the lcd just draws on that output from the dvd player.

What's more, you'd need to keep the DVD player circuit board in there to drive the LCD. Unless there's a lot of extra space in there after taking out the disk drive, you may need to expand the case or something.

This is my Portable DVD player running an input of any kind (well, AV) and displaying it on the screen. Read on to page 2 also and you will see more of it.

But in that specified link above. Go to the end of the page, and you will notice some useful information and a video. Which, I must say is CRAP because I do not have a proper video camera...

Thanks
