6 in series, with PSone screen: ~1h, 20 mins.
With LED modded screen: ~1h, 30 mins
8 in series, PSone screen: ~1h, 40 mins
With LED modded screen: ~1h, 50 mins
These are all guesstimates, though. You'll also need to use a custom regulator because the gamecube won't run on less than 10.2V.

Yeah ok, that's what I was getting at with my 6 or 8 thing... the correct answer is 10 for a total of 12v
