Let me know what you think.

The thermal camera heat research portion has been updated and moved to its own page.
Lots of new pics with the shell removed.

If you hold alt while typing 0176 on the num pad, you'll get a degree symbol (°).

That didn't work, maybe because i'm on a laptop without the number pad or because of wikispaces editor...
Anyway I found a way to change it.

Just added thermal camera results from over-clocking the top loader by 32%.
Check the bottom of the heat research page.

OK, another great new addition to my site!
This one is called "power research" and is actually full of applicable info to many other consoles and electronics.

I'm intrigued by your power supply research. Very useful information, and I appreciate you sharing.
Another thing you might consider investigating is replacing the 7805 regulators with one of these. It's perfectly compatible with anything that uses a 7805 (other voltages available), and also runs cooler. I've been installing them in all my consoles as I tear into them.

Excellent!!!! I've been trying to get all the parts together to do this, but this may save me a TON of effort!! Will order one of these and get it tested asap!Tibia wrote:Another thing you might consider investigating is replacing the 7805 regulators with one of these.
