Ok, look, in my Ti account says:
Order Status: Pending approval
"Please Note: the country you have chosen to ship to will require approval of your order."

Do you think that they will send my products?

how long time i have to wait...

thanks...

They may send it. I would assume that it will be approved in a few days if it does get approved. If you're not approved soon, you may want to call them.

I have oredered the TI regulator from TI. However i don't know if they will send my products.

Here is a pic of the Nokia charger regulator (i think). thanks
lol! after i read your post about using a phone charger i went and got an old nokia charger and ripped out that same part. it only dropped the voltage down one volt, so it was kind of useless for an n64. but i'm going to use it for sumthing else.

hi friends, well, bad news: TI will not send the regulator, they said: This is notification that one or more of your requested parts was rejected.
part Number Quantity Status

PTH08080WAS 1 Rejected
PTH08080WAZ 1 Rejected
PTH08080WAH 1 Rejected

So i guess that i'll have tu build my own regulator, the problem is that i don't know how to do that. please if you have a lis, a diagram, or something like that, that could serve.

could this serve? : http://www.comolohago.cl/2008/10/17/com ... e-voltaje/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

please help me, is the only thing that i need to begin. thanks.

i think this would work. (your link). i had the same idea of using a potentiometer, but i wasn't sure exactly how to make my board. thanks for the tutorial. i will most definitely try this out this weekend.

I guess I could mail you one for the price of shipping and like 5 bucks.

I have 4 ATM.

I already offered, but he's going to try to make the other one first. It will work, but I have no idea what the efficiency might be.

It's a linear regulator, so it's pretty inefficient. I don't know the draw on the 3.3v line though, so I couldn't say how much.

yes, it is going to lose a good amount of current, probably at least 50%, butI don't think the 3.3V line draws too much current.

Are you installing a fan with the regulator that you're using?

let me bust out my spanish skills.

El regulator no Bien. es muy malo . tu necesitas el regulator aqui.

http://cgi.ebay.com/MC34063-Based-Switc ... 3362173c9c" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

el regulator es muy facil.

my spanish is terrible haha but yah its very easy to use and all you need to do is a simple adjustment to get the right voltage. before using it make sure to test it for 3.3v
