got an ipod touch 16 gb for $40. Only problem is that the headphone jack is loose, so usually you are only getting sound through one speaker.
rest in peace, Ronnie James Dio! \m/

Got a used copy of Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow and an unopened copy of The Jeff Foxworthy Show Season 1 from Moviestop today for $6. Haven't gotten around to the TV show but I just realized the Sky Captain DVD is the fullscreen version. :( Ah well, better hit the library...

Check this bad oscar out!

Image

An old Victrola music machine, circa~1900 (hard to read the year on it..that part is kinda worn out...)

The best part is, it works! It sounds surprisingly good, considering how dirty the record on it is, and also considering how worn down the needle is...but the album is easily cleaned, and new needles are a dime a dozen, lol.

The owner wanted 200 for it, but after talking to the guy at the yard sale for a good 2 hours bout antique stuff and other fun things, he decided to give it to me for half that 8)

Now I can enjoy my grandparents/great grandparents' 78s the old fashioned way:D

well, you CAN but it will wear out the records much faster than a normal record player would because of the higher tracking weight. let me know the model victrola and i'll look up some info on it for ya! VERY jealous btw!

Find an old-timey library to put that in. With a fire and leather bound books. Maybe you sitting in a high-back chair sipping brandy...
I have nothing clever to say here. Sorry.
