What SNES Item is this?

New to BenHeck, been at ModRetro for ages, so sorry if this is in the wrong spot.

I have a cart for my PAL SNES which I was given, and for the past 8+ years, I've had no idea how to use it, since I never needed to.

Says "Super Power" on the front

According to what I found it is a universal adapter allowing import carts to be played on a PAL SNES. The imports in this case being NTSC and JP.

I figured it would be a game copier of some sort, but apparently it's a cheat device. Theres a few that look remarkably similar to yours so that's probably what it is. Search up X-terminator and/or Game Wizard for devices and information likely similar to yours.

I would tend to think Bobzilla is right about this being an adapter. That would explain why one of the card slots in the top has the extra side pins for the Japan and PAL cartridges and the slot without the side sections for the North America cartridges.

If you have a voltmeter/continuity tester, you could test if the pins of each port are all connected.

IIRC, the pinouts for the SNES/Super Famicom, were the same. There was however, a device that allowed you to play both SNES and the 8 bit games on a Super Nes. I think it was called the "double decker" and it was only available in the UK. The small cart slot should be for the famicom games.

Did anyone read this? There were also several versions which did not include the power supply in the box!. It was talking about the mini super nintendo
