How much of that did you use an electric sander for? I know you said you used to but I can't imagine you had to hardly at all with that

Re: Hailrazer's 4th N64 Portable.. Another Clone
I use the electric sander for almost all the initial sanding. And there is a ton of it at first. But I use 80 grit then 120 grit and tear it down fast. Then hand sand with 220 then 320. And after next to last coat I throw in 600 grit and then 2000 grit by hand for that smooth finish.Jidan wrote:How much of that did you use an electric sander for? I'm using both a super pad and an official gamecube joystick, but I cant quite get it to work.
How are you wiring yours up?

There are three different boards on the SuperPad's, so it depends on what revision you have.argelfraster wrote:I'm using both a super pad and an official gamecube joystick, but I cant quite get it to work.

What kind of paint and finish do you use? It isn't glossy or anything (which I like) and all the finishes and clear coats I've tried make it get extremely shiny afterwards

And the paint doesn't get scratched off at all? (I guess because of so many coats)

Re: Hailrazer's 4th N64 Portable.. Another Clone
Krylon fusion actually bonds with the plastic, so it would be pretty hard for it to scratch
