what exactly is a power joy got one at goodwill but nes carts dont fit?

it's a noac with a famicom cart slot... you can change it to nes.

It is a NOAC with a 60-pin Famicom cartridge slot on it. You'll need a 72-pin to 60-pin adapter (or wire one yourself) to play NES carts on it.
