Has ups or any other postal service lost your stuff that you shipped?

Yes. I hate UPS. I have had them lose multiple packages and break a few. I filed a complaint and got some money back once, but they aren't usually very co-operative with me when they screw up. USPS for the win!

Yes, I absolutely HATE the United Package Smashers. They have delivered atleast 4 Broken packages to me.

USPS Never breaks things, and they're always on time.

UPS jaaacked up the Xbox 360 Laptop I sent to weaver. Case was cracked and ports were smashed in. Even some buttons broke off. I even paid extra to have them pack it for me and have it rated as "super fragile", but alas, it wasn't enough to handle their shipping methods. He opted to repair it himself, partly because UPS's insurance didn't cover the US-Canada import fees, but it was a needless hassle.

I'll ship USPS next time.

In my opinion, Yes. I haven't used Fedex enough to make a judgement call there, but the few times I've used them have been nice. I still prefer USPS though because I have come to trust them over the years, they never let me down.

I think I'd have to agree with this ranking. I've had good luck with USPS and FedEx, but USPS is usually cheaper. Here's why I don't use UPS:

There was a lens for my camera packed in there. Expecting the worst, I opened the package, and all I have to say is: Nikon's metal-bodied lenses are epic - there wasn't even a ding on the lens. The lens worked great then and still works great!

Fight MS Paint abominations! If you don't have a camera, go here, and pick something 3 megapixels or higher.

I only use USPS, never had anything lost or damaged. Shipping time is usually a week or less. I once had a package take 2.5 or 3 weeks to get to the buyer, but that was a one time thing.

No problems from what I can recall. I did all my Christmas shopping on Amazon w/Free Prime Shipping via UPS, everything was shipped on time and in expected condition.

Only problem I had once was when they had a package of mine with the wrong address, but that was the company I ordered it from's fault (they transposed a couple numbers on the shipping address). Luckily that address didn't exist so they kept driving around aimlessly looking for a day or two (until the company fixed it) instead of them delivering it to some random person's house.

Canada Poste = Total Waste of time when it Comes to losing stuff. It's as though they end up doing competitions on who loses the most packages in a day. I've had about 30 packages that got lost with them damn service. Would have to agree with FedEx being awesome.

That's pretty much right. My uncle used to work for UPS, so he knows how badly they handle packages. He won't ship anything with them, and uses FedEx almost exclusively.

I nearly always use USPS. I've used UPS on occasion (for two very large/heavy items) and I get all of my blank shipping labels from them for free (I use them for USPS shipping). FedEx is definitely better than UPS, but USPS is the best value and very reliable. my packages nearly always come without a mark, no matter how badly they're packaged. I've had boxes sent by UPS that tore open from being thrown (partly newegg's fault for not putting any packing material in with the PSU that time), and nearly all of my packages delivered by them come at least partially crushed. Luckily, UPS hasn't lost anything of mine yet.
