.NSF Player
For awhile now I've been thinking of making a .NSF player like Kevin Horton's, but I figured his version would be too complex, so I started planning my own design.
I'm going to be using a noac along with a small portable tv. The tv was too small to use for a portable in my mind, but it'd be great for this.
I was going to mod the backlight so it uses leds, and also make a switch so I could turn the screen off so the unit would run longer. The only hard part I can think of is building the nes cart that holds the .NSF files, and programing a nice gui for it.

I love the music from the 8-bit ages, so yes I will :p
Also, I tested my screen out while playing FF VII and Zelda III, and I confirmed that it's too small to be used in a portable. The images are great, but the words and numbers are way too blurry to read. I'm trying to fix one of my old NOACs to use in this too, but I think I might just use a new one.

Actually, I kind of admire the guy for that. The complexity of one man building that unit borders on insane. A guy who can make that work can go places. I only WISH I had that kind of patience and skill....I already have the obsession needed. ^^omegabullit wrote:That is just insanity. *Rolls eyes wondering who comes up with this stuff*
