My main computer is:
ASUS K8N-DL mobo
Dual-dual-core Opteron 270 @ 2.0Ghz (so it's a quad core, built it before dual core's were even popular!)

Nvidia 8800 GTS, 640MB video, with Koolance water block, pump and radiator.
Aegia PhysX 100 card (mostly useless)
Soundblaster Audigy 2 Platinum card
80GB, 120GB, 200GB, 320GB and 1TB hard drives.
Samsung 16X SATA DVD burner
40X CD drive
L.I.S 2 Auto Fan controller
Powered by a 600W SilverStone modular power supply
Currently running XP64.

Re: what do u run
Desktop
Migrus mini-ITX board
1.5GHz VIA C7
1GB RAM
40GB 2.5" HDD
XP Pro
Housed in this case
It spends its time chugging away at MilkyWay@home, being a print server, and running old games.
Laptop
Sony VAIO R505EL
1.13GHz P3
640MB RAM
20GB HDD
no battery
XP Pro
Only cost $30, plus another $20 for a 512MB stick of RAM. Would cost $30-40 for a battery, I might end up getting one.

AMD Phenom II x3 710 2.6Ghz
2x2GB DDR2-1066 (dual channel)
Biostar ta790gx 128M Socket AM2+ motherboard (latency killed DDR3 performance when I put the system together, so I went with this over an AM3 board)
512MB MSI GeForce GTS 250
60GB IDE, 160GB IDE and 250GB SATA drives. (I'm thinking of replacing all of these with a nice fast single-platter 500GB)
LG daul layer DVD+-RW burner (SATA)

Sigma Zen blue case (I'm tired of all the black cases)
22" Dell 1080p LCD

Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 2.0
Running Ubuntu 9.04 currently. I'll probably upgrade after snagging a new HD.

Sempron 3000+
1GB DDR400 RAM
80GB IDE HD (will be regulated to OS storage once I get it working fully)

Re: what do u run
Oh dear, this may take a while...
Mac Mini (2009) (Media hub (so it's my media server and I encode/rip/etc on it))
• 2.26GHz core 2 duo
• 2GB RAM
• 160GB hard drive
• NVIDIA 9400M
---> It's so boringly stock! I haven't voided the warranty on it yet.
Macbook Pro 15" (Late 2007) (laptop, which I use more as a desktop-replacement really)
• 2.2GHz core 2 duo
• 4GB RAM (which I added myself)
• 500GB hard drive (which I added myself, shh, don't tell Apple, this isn't supposed to be user-replaceable and I'm still under warranty!)
• NVIDIA 8600M GT
---> Some boring mods, nothing quite like my "coral red" (aka magenta aka pink) iBook...
The above two computers share my *awesome* 23" 2048x1152 Samsung monitor on a VESA arm. My dad is "borrowing" my 37" Samsung TV for the family room...
Hand-built PC (my server w00t)
• unRAID Server (which is great btw)
• Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P
• 4GB OCZ 1066MHz RAM
• 3.33GHz (overclocked) Core 2 Duo E7300
• ATI Radeon 4670 (to be sold and replaced with a NVIDIA GeForce2 MX400 64MB (thanks Duallies!))
• Antec 900
• Seasonic 550w 80+ PSU
• 1.5TB WD Green parity drive, 650GB Seagate IDE drive, 160GB Seagate SATA drive (I'll be adding a 1-2tb soon)
• Coming soon: custom hard drive carrier/front panel (will hold up to 15 hard drives!)
• Blue case lighting/fans, which I'm getting bored of, will probably change it to red
---> More mods than above computers, the custom hard drive carrier/front panel will be the biggest (I intend to do this after MGC, therefore after my NESp )
Oh yeah almost forgot:
iMac G3 Blueberry (my forum-posting/music-playing/googling-while-I'm-portablizing computer sitting on my bench)
• 550 MHz G4 (yeah you read that right, this was quite the difficult mod, the CPU was soldered in... )
• 512 MB RAM
• 80GB Seagate hard drive
• 15" Tube FTW!!
---> Begging for some case lighting...
And sadly...
iBook G3 500MHz (deceased I really liked this computer)
• 500MHz G3
• 256MB RAM
• 30GB hard drive
• 12" screen
• Consistent 4.5 hours battery life doing normal stuff (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Firefox, chat client, etc), consistent 2 hours doing something draining (playing a DVD, playing Starcraft, etc)
• "Coral Red" - aka magenta. Aside from the color, this paint job came out better than I imagined it would, which is saying something because I usually set my standards pretty high. The color grew on me though and I found I really did like it after a while... (at the risk of possible heterosexuality-questioning I'll admit that I had a matching painted Logitech VX Revolution and TI-84 Plus Silver...and flash drive...)
---> This was such a fun computer. It was so indestructible, and I bought it for $39 "broken" (it had a one-pixel-wide vertical line on the screen) without a battery. Since I paid so little for it, I had no problems modding the crap out of it...
I may be coming into possession of a MSI Nettop soon...
