ok so i was thinking if any of us portableizers make a few of the same portables and run in to one another and we should try to play toplayer games together.. we sould have a kind of standerdized extention port so we all have the same hook up fo playing games.
player one has game system controler and screen active. with composite out and controler ports. player two has controler and screen active
player two acepts player ones composite and plugs in to his controler slot.
then they play.
but what metoid of plug would we use? and in what order would the pins on that plug go in to.

So what something like the serial ports in the back of the PSX(origanal PS) and the Dreamcast for seperate screen vs mood?I'd say yes I've read the N64 fourm's threada bout that. The only prblem is we're pretty spread out here, Gamer2 is the closest person to me and it would be about 90 mins to drive.
I understand what you talking about its great idea but us (board members) meeting isnt likely.

Hey, you never know - someday we may have our own convention and Ben will be the keynote speaker and guys like Gannon will have a booth there trying to sell their warez. It would be nice if at that time our extension ports were all standardized. If not, we'd look back on this day and curse our short-sightedness.
Nothing wrong with defining a standard now. It can always be tweaked over time. Could possibly even submit it to IEEE !!!!

NiN^_^NiN can crash on MR.MOD's couch
for those that don't frequent the chat, we sometimes joke about making a pilgrimage to Ben's, and Nin always says that he'll do that.
Edit: forgot to say that I agree that we are a little spread out, though I was likely less than a mile away from Link89 at one point. Closest person normally is MR.MOD, and he's about an hour away. After that is probably Ben, stereth, or Dave and I'm not sure where in Wisconsin they are.

Say maybe if everyone is inclined to have some meeting we could post date it to were we all are old enough to afford it. Like 2-4 years from now jsut rent out something like a motel 8 in Ben's home town and have ourselfs a nice LPC convention.

That's what I was going to say sparkfist. Youu could probably rent a hotel board room thing and hold a big convention in there. We have to hold in Ben's areathough for obvious reasons. It would be a cool idea. Maybe we could all get camera's on the computer anddo a huge video convention I guess. That's a lot easier on evryone though.

no problem. That would be great if we really did do that, though. Heck, it's actually quite possible considering a lot of us are in the midwest.
Edit: actually, if I give you a ride from MR.MOD's couch, you'll need to take Stooge with. Think you could fit him in your suitcase?
