Nice finds with the PSone games!

I just bought two Superpad N64 controllers (the kind with easily replaceable joysticks), a Pelican XBox controller (with two easily removed joysticks), and a first party XBox controller S for $4. Oh, and one of the N64 controllers came with a Transfer Pak.

Also, the Authoritative Collection (?) of Calvin and Hobbes book for $2. In hardcover.

Is that a PC tape drive on top there?

Extra jealous. I tried to steal all of the Calvin and Hobbes books from my school library as a kid, then I found out they were going to hold me back from going to the 9th grade if I didn't give them back.

Some of my recent finds:

Three PS2 Network Adapters - $10 each
Sega Dreamcast w/ Two Controllers & VMU's - $10
"Broke" 20gb PlayStation 3 that only needed a power supply - $50
Sega Genesis 2 - $1
Grandia II for Dreamcast - $1

First two were picked up at the same pawn shop, the PS3 was bought locally, and the last two were purchased at a local thrift shop.

@Michael - I'm absolutely jealous at your Final Fantasy finds. Absolutely jealous. :P

50$ for a PS3???
A truly wise man can entertain a thought without accepting it. A fool cannot withhold past judgments but instead closes his mine to new possibilities. Someone who wants to innovate simply needs to forget what everyone says isn't possible.

my friend gave me two playstations yesterday with cords and an original style controller.

one works and the other doesn'e get power to the disk drive for some reason. The drive works on my other playstations so I don't know what is going on.

Yup, $50 for a PS3. Guy thought it was damaged beyond repair and was going to throw it out but I offered him $50 to take it off his hands. He gladly accepted as he had already bought a new PS3 and had no use for the old one. I was just lucky enough to overhear him talking about it while eating at Zaxby's one day.

I returned to the same thrift shop today and found more:

Atari Flashback 2, boxed: $7.50
007 Goldeneye, loose: $2.50
Super Smash Bros., loose: $2.50
third-party N64 memory card: free

They truly have no concept of how much stuff should cost. I told them that the original playstation, untested and without cables or controllers, might not sell for $45.

That made my day. That's almost as funny as the day I bought that $10 Dreamcast from the pawn shop and they had it listed as a Sega Genesis.
