Finished Supernatural Colt Replica

Post by Pkmnjunky7 » Fri Dec 25, 2009 1:52 pm

Just got done making this for my brother's Christmas present. For those of you who aren't familiar with the show "Supernatural" on the CW, this gun is from that show and is capable of killing anything. This took me 2 weeks to make and is made entirely out of wood and woodglue. The paint is Rustoleum Metallic charcoal and Testors gold enamel. I did the words "non timebo mola" and etching designs with a fine point sharpie. I haven't done all of the etching yet because I can't find good reference of the rest of the etching... If anyone has good reference pics let me know.

Anyways, here are the pictures...

I can't believe you think I could make such an obvious mistake!!

Yeah, It's supposed to be that way. The 1836 Colt Paterson had a trigger that folded out upon pulling the hammer back, and seeing as This is a static model and you can't pull the trigger back I thought it would be silly to include the trigger.

Lol to your mistake (I don't even know what they're talking about!), but it's probably way better than I would have done

to clarify, i wasnt familiar with the make/model pistol and based my first statement on a generality, that pistols generally have visible triggers and guards. this is, as stated, not always the case
