Unmodded psone screen quick question

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Unmodded psone screen quick question

Post by devileyebrows42 »

What pin on the first plug connects power to the screen bulb in an unmodded psone screen??? i think i read somewhere that a wire needs to be connected to a pin on the first plug to connect power from the regulator on the back to the screen bulb, but im not sure. Basically, do i need to do anything to the unmodded screen before i use it?

I think you're thinking the other way around, if you did mod your screen then you need to connect the led's to the last pin, you don't need to do anything if it's unmodded.
