psone screen

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

with a vga to composite convertor, if your serious aboutthis, dont go buy one of the cheap leads as they wont work at all with your setup (i presume you dont have a graphics card capable of composite , otherwise you wouldnt be wanting to convert vga).

Something like this will do http://www.google.com/products/catalog? ... sa=image#p" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; , try and use the s video output if you can and do the s-video mod on your ps1 screen if you have a pal screen. I doubt ill ever hear from you again, but if i do then good luck.

Oh and the quality will be fairly awfull, now the psone screen is good, but test will be unreadable and the only thing mildly usefull with this is perhpas monotiring a server, a tidy front end for a media server or a qui for a file serve, all servers really.

That sir, is a composite to VGA box, not the other way around.
Why would you want to hook up a PC to a PSone screen in the first place?

People use them all the time in case mods. They'll usually display PC stats, like CPU temp and usage. If you got a 5" touch screen film, you could make a little mini touch screen monitor. You could put things like tools from Photoshop or Illustrator in it.
