That's awesome!

I think another feature of your portable is that it's region free! I hope you make lots of $$$.

Is it... I'm not to sure if a PAL n64 can play ntsc games?? Can anyone give any comment on that? I know a PAL Psone screen won't display 60hz correct but i have no idea how it is with the n64....

I have read (don't quote me on this though) that the n64 will play any region game, the original case just prevented that though. With slight modification to the case, apparently you can play any region games, so your portable should play them

you need to switch out the pif chip to change the region from ntsc(u and j) to pal or vice versa. The psone screen, no go though.
zenloc, PLEASE post a guide on cutting down the psone screen pcb.

I think that only applies to NTSCJ games. PAL games are still unplayable until you do an actual region mod.

hmm yeah ntsc on pal without modification is a no go and the psone makes it impossible anyway. That's really the only thing I don't like about the PsOne screen no 50/60hz compatibility

Well I didn't break any components.

So 1 of very component. Altough prices here in Holland are a bit higher than in the US. Don't remember how much exactly though...

When I finish my GCMini I'll post a detailed psone cutting guide. Their are components which you don't use and can be cut off to reduce the draw (very little but still something) and size of the mobo.
