Portable Jaguar...

Post by dkap01 » Mon Aug 23, 2004 9:59 pm

Well its been awhile sence my last portable, so here's my newone. It's a Portable Jaguar, it has a PS1 screen, PS1 joystick and run's on 8 AA rechargeable's. The only thing I have left to do on it is to do the LED mod for the screen. So check it out here: http://www.portablesystems.bravepages.com

Very nice. Do you want me to add it to the completed! page at doomportables? (gannon and I took over temporarily, if you haven't noticed)

yeah, that looks really good. The case seems to look like it was formed better than your psp's also, although I like the psp's design better.

Also, do you want me to host your site? About a week every few months and your host seems to be down

That is so sweet. I was starting to think nobody would make a jaguar portable. Very nice design.

I had seen them before but I didn't know the graphics were that good. It's a 64 bit system it looks pretty nice. Buy rite sells them for like $80, it's not cheap but it is what you want. I'm inspired to build one I MUST build one know. Curse you I was already broke for so long and now I'll have to be broke again. :x

A game shop near me usually has a jag in stock for $40, and I'm much more reliable than buyrite.

Nobody here seems to have a Jag, it's even hard to find NES's!

I've taken a look at the auctions on ebay and well lets say you can find mini SNES and top loading NES more pletiful then Jaguars.

If you're really serious about it, AtariAge has a marketplace section with many reliable people. Prices are very reasonable, too.

EDIT: if anyone is interested in one of the jags at the game store near me, send me a PM, and I'll see what I can do.
