Post what you got, what you missed out on, and your general experiences on black friday 2009!
I went with 3 friends, left my house at 3:30am. we went to walmart which was ALREADY a madhouse. 2 stayed at walmart and did their shopping, me and my friend derek went to target. got there around 4:10, waited in line outside (a balmy twenty-five degrees Fahrenheit) until the store opened at 5. i bought a 1tb western digital external HDD for 65$ including tax, he bought 2. then we got the hell out of there!

I ordered an Antec 300 and a couple 70CFM@19db Cooler Master 120mm fans from NewEgg. The case was $35 (after $20 MIR), and the fans were $10 each, so basically they were free. Free shipping on everything, too!

$31 at Target. I wanted Seasons 1-3 but I'm pretty sure they were out by 6am. I didn't want to go exploring through the madhouse in Electronics so I grabbed what I could.

Re: Black Friday Buys!
Success! An evening run yielded season 1-3
And sort of related, I grabbed some numbers from the Target I work at:
Overall, the store took in $506,256.73 as of 31 minutes before closing. Subtract out returns, discounts, and gift card sales gets a total net sales of $439,378.88. I believe a normal "good" day is 100k.
I happened to be working at Starbucks tonight. Over there, we got $2,353.37 total, $2,174.80 net, and 401 transactions. A normal good day over there is ~$700 and maybe 100 transactions.

I got Knights of the Old Republic on Steam for a buck-fifty. That's pretty much it.

Re: Black Friday Buys!
I snagged the following crap for cheap today...
East Bound & Down Season 1 (DVD) - $10
Wolverine (Blu-ray) - $10
Fast & Furious (Blu-ray) - $10
Wanted (Blu-ray) - $13
Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 (X360) - $7
24 Pack of Coke - $6 (Well, I did BUY this today so what the heck.)
Also, went to the Tilted Kilt where I had food served to me that made me ill. It was served by quite the hot, voluptuous waitress so it still ended up as a win in my book.
The end.

Re: Black Friday Buys!
I missed out on my Djembe. =( They sold out in 4 different store in the first 2 hours.
A truly wise man can entertain a thought without accepting it. A fool cannot withhold past judgments but instead closes his mine to new possibilities. Someone who wants to innovate simply needs to forget what everyone says isn't possible.

Sony Bravia 32" HDTV $377
On Amazon got NHL 10 for $35 and MG4 for my bro-in-law $15, prolly gonna grab all three seasons of Psych for $13 each in a few.
My dad bought a GPS for some reason, we never go anywhere where we would need it haha

I almost went. I was going to go to Staples for a $40 chair, but we were going on a trip that day, and leaving early, so I couldn't go
Edit: Another page break? :/
