Good battery?

According to Bacteria, the DC's 12v rail can use as little as 7.4v (I tested on an adjustable power supply and seems to work), so Im gonna try to go with his idea, and use a single battery with no PSU (I hate that I already spent the money on it, but I'm sure I'll find another use for it) and two regulators for the others. From what I can tell its a fairly small battery with decent mAh and relatively inexpensive.

Any comments about this anyone?

Edit: The link is good now lol

I don't think there's enough mAH to play it for too long...

Well like bacteria mentioned there is a less current pull with the lower voltage. Which makes sense being as, I=V*R. So dropping the voltage should drop the current, which will give me a little room to work with, I could prolly get 1.5 hours with the final project. But yes not much play time, I may consider a 4.4 Ah battery, but I wanna keep the battery small. I'll keep you guys updated though.

Well I hate to disagree , but the lower amount of Voltage you use, the more current is drawn.

Gamecube amp draw :

At 12v the Gamecube draws an average of 1.5A

So with that info we get.

14.8v will draw 1.2A
11.1v will draw 1.6A
7.4v will draw 2.45A
