quick question why is the video on the screen backwards? Also did you use the fc3 for this portable?

FC3 looks like the only possible way to make it so small.
Can we see some pictures of it? At various angles so we can see thickness and whatnot

Hey guys! ehh yeah if you look in my video description I address the mirrored video I used a macbook camera and that's what I ended up with. I used the authentic "mini" SNES and slapped the Gen X clone system for the NES and Genesis on top of it. OH and sorry for posting here. This was my first post and I was so excited to be done I just posted everywhere 0_0 I will post some pics later today : )

Ah! Got these up just in the nick of time okay. I appologize but heading over to my girlfriend's house I forgot to pack the rear face plate before leaving. so in other words the back looks like a mess of wires. But I can assure you! The rear plate is built and all the switches, capacitors, RCA outs etc fit perfectly. I'll be sure to post THOSE pictures tomorrow or the day after. I just really wanted to get these ones up today : ) Thanks again for all the support. Feels pretty good!

Ehm anywho, the unit is 1" thick, is fairly heafty, and is about 8.6" horizontally and 5.4" at its widest portion (The diameter of the circular portion). I used a Psone screen with the imfamous LED mod. The controller board was tricky as I had to incorporate two different IC's into one board, one for the NES/Genesis and another for the SNES. (i.e. I had to find a way to isolate the two because some SNES games recognized the controller as a Mouse or Superscope) Anywho, if you would like anymore technical details on mashing the two systems together I would be more than happy to assist : )

Now that is a clear case. Very nice. I like that the led mod is lighting up the case itself. It must be cool to play in a very dark room.

Re: Finished NES, SNES, GENESIS all in one portable!
Sweet! Thanks for notifying me and yes, I used the SNES by hand template from Benheck's book only with a few modifications. The rear plate has three slots for the three different cartriges, and holes for the RCA outputs, power buttons, and second player controller port. Also, instead of using alluminum siding, I used plexiglas. I got the 90 degree bends by using an old toaster oven element and got the slight bends by using a small propane torch. Anywho, if there are anymore questions let me know
