If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Post
by Turbo Tax 1.0 » Wed Apr 13, 2005 10:25 pm
I just hooked my psone screen to my snes and gave them both power but the only thing on the screen that works are the leds I"m pretty sure it's not a battery problem and there isn't anything wrong with the screen because when I gave it wall power the volume and brightness bars showed up. Is there something i forgot to do or or did wrong. A solution would be appreciated very much.

Sounds like you don't have enough voltage for the screen and SNES to turn on. What kind of battery are you using?

It is a 7.2V battery right? Us a multimeter to check the battery for voltage and if it shows less than 7.2V then that's probably your problem. Make sure it's fully charged of course.

ok i just attached a DC Aux jack to the thing and the same thing happened just the leds went on, I'm gonna feel really dumb if I have to connnect any other wires.
I have connected the grounds between them and i have connected the power to the regulator's outgoing power to the other regulator on the psone screen is there anything else that i have to do
