yep, everything except the pin2 from controller (the bidirectional data wire). other are common pins with voltage suply and ground, the only difference per each controller is the "data wire".

happy portabilizing ;)

THE PICTURE IS TOO SMALL!
can you draw a diagram for the gamecube controller?
because a black line points to a place that I cant find?

my guide have lot of controller pics, wich one is small?

If you are talking about "mod/hack" the controller itself by reallocating the controls:

the black line is attached to any common ground place.

it can be obtained just by "rasp"-ing the controller board on the selected places, and soldering on there.

if you watch at my controller diagrams, at the bottoms, I wired some colored wires, the other pin from each buttom (the one where I didnt placed any colored wire) is the ground, you can solder the black wire on any of them, you also can rasp the mobo at the places I added a black point.

and I think those pics are big enough:

if you are talking about other pics, please be more specific.

done ^^ I added a little more text at the correct section.

what you mean in "a little bit more english" ? :D

well, the english at the guide is the best I can do,I am spanish and I just learned some english on internet games/forums/stuff as a hoobie

hehe, Im glad you decided to made your first post in my guide topic ^^

btw, I consider this guide is not a full steep organized guide, it maybe is near be, but I consider it like a couple of basic ideas to people wich dont know where to start.

anyway each portable is different, due you are the one who design the case, who cut the mobos, and who decide the best method to get the parts as small as posible.

I also recognize my 2 portables are really far to be the best of this comunity, them are really very basic portables made with minimal money and just few ideas, if you take a look to all the awesome portables at this site, you will understand my point ^^

shock slayer is a good example, he also almost make a new portable every day hehe.

with all of this, I basically means that my guide is just very basic and it shouldnt be take to much serius or make a portable exactly like my guides, you can do some stuff different from the guide, and you can take other portables as examples, the results will improve ;)

well, then you need a battery I recomend this one, low cost, and powerfull

battery

19$

you will need also a screen

the most of people at this comunity used PSONE screen, they told it have high picture quality and need low power (even it will need lower power after the led mod).

the psone screen I think is arround 40$ - 55$ (It may differ from some sites , or if the screen has been used)

you will also need some tools, and wires (I cannot tell you how much it will cost, cause I dont know the tools you cuarently have or the cuantity of wires you will need)

anyway calculating

arround 70$ (battery + screen)

and then you may need more money for some minor tools, wires, hot glue.....etc (maybe 30 $)

well, the fact is that it may take arround 100$ for everything, (bing optimist :D )

you also may need to buy another gamecube, for extra parts, or replacements in case something goes wrong.

it also depends what kind of case you want to make, some casing methods will require some extra tools, and mats

btw, this differs a lot ^^

and relating the entire project, it also depends the money you want to spent on it, anyway, if this is your first project, I would try make it slowly and checking several times every steep.

thats why I cant tell you the final amount of money you will need ^^

make a portable is allways a surprise, it will take a few time and probably some minor troubles you will take some time to fix.

but after acomplish them, you will earn lot of knowledge and a awesome portable you can play having fun on it and you can also show your friends hehe.

If really want , go for it ;)

laptop cube? if you mean one with the ability of rotate the screen to put away like PC laptops.

and you want use external controllers, you can skip some guide parts, the design will be probably slimmer, and maybe easier to make.
