My new screen

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Yea well, talk about a useless post with even less information.

How about this.

1. What brand screen?
2.How much does it cost?
3.How good is the quality?
4.What's the lowest volts it will run on?
5.Is it Led backlight or ccfl?
6.How many amps to run it?
7.Built in stereo speakers?

See then it would be a useful post. :D

Hey again, i have no idea of the brand, it cost me £10 at a computer fair (none left), it has 2 CCFL Tubes that are HUGE, the screen quality is ok, but like 1/2 as good as a psone screen, and there are some visible scanlines on 2d games (nes/snes) it wont work with an N64, but i dunno why, Dreamcast works well as does PS1 and Gamecube.
Also some bumps in the picture at the side appear... morked with red arrows on the pic.
It says SPM-O56 on the back, and the circuityry is all simple with big IC's and a built in MONO speaker.

heres some gameplay shots:

if it has a 7805 chip or something like that in it, that might be all that you killed. Or it could be a resistor.
