Hacking third party controllers?

Post by deadlyfishy »

Obviously the inside of a third party controller is going to be different than the official, so I can't use the same guide. Can anybody guide me through adding an extra A and B button to my Neo Se Joytech wired controller. I just want to use this as sort of a tester to figure out how I want everything, then I'll hack my real controller.

Oops.. It was late when I posted so I forgot about that, lol.

Xbox 360 third party controller. I want to add extra buttons like this - http://www.llamma.com/xbox360/mods/extr ... uttons.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I just wanna use the third party as a test subject kinda thing to see if I like it or not.

Post a god, clear picture of the part of the board with the face buttons, and I should be able to tell you where to solder. Would this be your first time soldering? If so I HIGHLY recommend practicing a lot before you attempt this

Alright.. I'll get to that sometime soon. And no, I've soldered before, just haven't done something like this.
