So would a controller minus memory cards work?

So the DVD thing on the port would work?

That would be great then since I could probably have a couple usb ports (not using the other controller ports) the keyboard and dvd dongle.

Then when I plug controller in, it disconnects keyboard/dvd/usb ports...

I don't think that would be a problem... I'll rarely have 4 controllers plugged in and if I do we'll be playing games not typing

Edit:
Contacted author of that howto (for the dvd dongle mod) he gave me this guide instead

Looks the same but it's got a schematic now :D

Would Bondo on the sides and sanded down then painted, make it smooth and nice?
Which friction hinges is Ben using?

I'm off to see what this "Bondo" thing is all about. Might have some pics tonight...

Well today I'm 18 so I decided to take my first foray into the world of Bondo

I'm ashamed to admit that I wasted this much! I only got to use half of it before it was hardened.

Half a can nearly gone :wtf:

But the good thing is I got this much done (basically a side and a half)

That's the lovely screen in the background.

I'm waiting for it to harden before I do some serious sanding (I did it lightly) and then finish the other sides...

Wish me luck

Thankyou! But what I'm looking for is comments. Words mean a whole lot more to me than the viewing number going up! :D

I did read the directions. didn't say anything like that. I'm serious

Probably because it's an offbrand version of bondo

Great job so far, when you're finished I will probably model my xbox portable after this.

I use Bondo "spot and glazing putty". Works great, dries kinda quickly but not overly so. Sands real easily.

Also, nice work so far.
