I am!
Not sure if I will use my copy of Windows 7 Signature Edition, or sell it and get the $30 Student edition one... Hmmm...

A Windows 7 launch party would be a lot more exciting if I didn't already have it (MSDNAA).

Re: Windows 7 Launch Party.
Most likely no one will even come to my party, I only signed up for the rewards =P I think I'm going to sell most of my stuff I get from the party and build a MAME cabinet.

MSDNAA is quite amazing...lifeisbetterwithketchup wrote:A Windows 7 launch party would be a lot more exciting if I didn't already have it (MSDNAA).
Re: Windows 7 Launch Party.
So what exactly does one have to do to "host" a party (I know you have to sign up)? Do I actually have to have people come, or could I have a party with my family?

Re: Windows 7 Launch Party.
Did you get selected, vskid?
That is the first step.
They say you have to invite at least 9 other people, I suppose that includes family. They say that Microsoft Reps might show up, it would be bad if nobody was there.

Re: Windows 7 Launch Party.
No, I haven't signed up because I didn't want to have to do a lame party. There are 6 others in my family, plus I could have some friends come over and play Halo... I'm gonna go sign up.palmertech wrote:Did you get selected, vskid?

For me it didn't say I needed 9 people. I only invited 4 and it confirmed me.

Yes, yes it is. So are student discounts on other stuff (I'm looking at you, Adobe), and insane Internets (see sig).Skyone wrote:MSDNAA is quite amazing...lifeisbetterwithketchup wrote:A Windows 7 launch party would be a lot more exciting if I didn't already have it (MSDNAA).
