Looks great so far. Also, I just realized your avatar is Cheato.

OK, so I got my Pustom screen in the mail, which is awesome by the way, but I'm now having problems figuring out how to wire the connections to the pins on the screen, like shown in this link on the pinout.
http://www.forums.benheck.com/viewtopic ... 51&start=0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I'm also at the moment sorting out power issues. All it does is make a faint buzzing sound on the TV when tested...
Anyone know if the stock LED it has would affect anything?

Finally, when I'm wiring things up to the battery pack, how do I essentially "split" the power so it can go to both the screen and the console?

Thanks for the help guys, and sorry for the dumb questions.

The pinout can't be made any clearer than it is.

Wire from the battery to the console, and from the console to the screen.

Alright, so essentially daisy chain them together?

Like, do I solder two wires to the +5v pin on the system, one going to the positive pins of the battery, one to the power of the screen?

Or you can solder two wires to the battery, one going to the screen, one to the system.

Yay progress!!!

As you can see, the screen IS recieving power. :D
However, I am yet to get it to play the system. I wonder what's wrong? Something not fully soldered? AV not working? Or...*gulp*...a broken RES??

I'm hoping it's not the third.

Anyways, help would be appreciated in fixing this!

Did you solder the wires video , audio , AND ground? And are they in the right spots?

Looking at the pictures...I'm not seeing a game in the cart slot...
Also i don't think the screen will run for very long on 4 AA's.

The RES requires a game to boot. And I don't see one.

EDIT:
Whoops, didn't see your post argelfraster. My bad.

I've already tested a game, it didn't work unfortunately...

I think I'll try the connections again, and see if that's where the problem lies. It was working fine before I got to wiring it up, so I don't see why it would break now.

Also, a little off topic, two questions:

Can I relocate the RES cartridge slot?
And can I leave the system connected to the controller ports and power switch end of the board, or will that have to get rewired?

Thanks again!

You can leave it.

Agh, I think it's as I feared...

I think my RES is broken. =/
I tested to see if it was turned on by using the RES controller on it. An LED illumunates when the system is on, but when I tried it, it didn't light up...

Thank goodness it isn't too much for a NOAC.
Now, apparently the Yobo has the same interals as the RES...Is that true? Maybe I could find a Yobo for even cheaper...

If you wire the screen directly it will always be on.
I would put a switch on one of the wires from the battery.
