Re: Finished SNES Portable
Nice work. You've inspired me... a portable with a cartridge sticking out of the back doesn't have to look like crap. Maybe I'll stop worrying about relocating my cartridge slot and just solder it back in

Re: Finished SNES Portable
Very nice, clean portable. No LED mod, I see. Good choice. I'm a bit of purest and for consoles that don't suck as much power, I'm in the "keep the CCFL" line of thinking. I know many would disagree around here, and I understand why (who wouldn't want more battery life?). If your battery lasts long enough though, and your case can fit the whole board, I say keep it.
I don't think you see very many group efforts around here so that part in particular is pretty cool. Congrats, guys.

You have to pm a mod to get a title.Hifeno wrote:no portablizer title and no comments I must not be liked here or something.
And I count 3 comments. No comments and you wouldn't be liked.
Self-esteem issues perhaps.

Very nice portable, Hifeno.
Re: Finished SNES Portable
Wow. Two back to back.
Better finish mine up then.
Seriously this is one nice portable.
(I also watched your video and just realized my speakers were on all the way when I was blasted by a very low quality sort of distorted HEEEEEEEEEEY!)

Making stuff with my new beautiful CNC machine!
Would you like a professional looking custom case for your portable? I may be able to help you. Check out this link:

Re: Finished SNES Portable
Button placement looks painful to say the least. A little bit lumpy around the controls but who doesn't do that? Speakers holes look a little messy and the screen placement could be a little more on center, but hey I'm assuming that this is one of those "It's never really done" projects. By the way, in case you can't sense the aura i'm trying to put out. I'm trying to give you a little constructive critisism, not insult your work. Looks like my GCp's case (still not complete, probably never will be...) And considering I've never finished any portable of any kind... Well you're doing good
