For the battery, I would get 2 off-brand infolithiums off ebay and wire them in series (cheaper, more mAh).

Question! What voltage does the wii run off of? Same as gamecube? Why does everyone think finding 12v+ batteries are hard? Just search laptop batteries on ebay. lawlink

Case design looks interesting!

As per my thread where you asked if we could swap notes, I would be glad to as long as you promise to not to beat me in the portable compo.

Are you 100% sure it is dead? My bet is that the connector or the antenna is bad.

Try Gecko OS. It should work for what you need.

Hackmodford wrote:So all I do is start Gecko OS hit reset and the wii game should load?

Technically that's not via a GC controller but that should work :D

Edit:

I just installed Gecko OS and I can use a gamecube controller to boot wii games!
Gotta crack this thing open again and take some measurements!
I've never tried doing it through the reset button, I always use the gamecube controller. Glad it worked out for you though :D

I know. That is why I asked about posts in the rest of the forum. An account can be deleted and the posts still remain.

Everything I've ever posted as hackmodford is gone!

The only thing I'm really really bummed about is my post in the reference section and my signature

I emailed Ben and he said just reregister... :?

PM the other admins, perhaps it can be recovered from a forum backup? I have no clue. :(

You wrote a LOT of good stuff, and have a few solid worklogs under your belt, no idea why you would end up deleted.
