help with a screen please?

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

ok i plan on using a old psp 1000 screen the psp is long gone and i have herd that it is possable to use one of these screens can any one tell me how i would go about hooking it all up

You cannot realistically use the PSP screen, it would be cheaper to buy a composite 4.3" LCD than to make the PSP lcd work.

there do exist n64 emulators for the psp (granted not all the games work) but the good ones work like ocarina of time and mario 64

Super Mario 64 runs at decent speed with no sound. OOT does not run decently, and don't even THINK about sound.

The PSP is not the right answer. Besides, if we just wanted to emulate on a PSP, we would not build portables at all. ;)

And it's not like you can emulate any of the newer systems decently anyway.
Emulation is the easy way out. At Benheck, we try to challenge ourselves. :wink:

Off topic much? The original question was not about emulation.

The psp screen is a digital LCD. It does not accept normal video signals. Using one is about as "possible" as building your own psp from scratch.
