I'm attempting to fix a mystery problem with a friend's 360 (2006 model), and when I took out the CD-Rom, I noticed that all of the yellow 820uf capacitors look swollen. The tops are all buldgy around the indented lines, while the black capacitors are all flat. I don't have another board to compare it to, so could someone tell me if they're supposed to look like that, or if they need to be replaced? thanks!

If they look like this, they need to be replaced. That should fix your problem, but I don't know much about the 360.

it kinda looks like that (sorry, my camera isn't compatible with this computer), but imagine that the crease lines are all flat, but the areas in between are raised, that's what's weirding me out about it.

If the tops are flat, then they are fine. If they are not flat, than they are buldging and need to be replaced. If they are leaking, they need to be replaced too.
