Portable-Palooza '09: Contest Entries Submission Thread!

Post by Life of Brian » Mon Jul 27, 2009 10:52 am

Now that we're getting close to the deadline, it's time for an official contest entries submission thread!

As stated in The Rules:
Entries must include one picture of the front, one picture of the back, and two gameplay pictures (and/or one video) which prove that the system is functional. At least one of the pictures must be at an angle which shows the overall thickness of the system.
Also, I am adding one more thing: Please document your portable in some fashion in the benheck.com Showcase. It's a shameless plug, but as a moderator I feel that I need to do what I can to help this section of the site grow. Your entry in the Showcase can be an identical copy to what you put in this thread or it may be entirely different, so long as your entry HERE follows the rules previously mentioned. Portables that aren't documented in the Showcase won't be disqualified, but please consider doing it.

As tempting as it might be to "ooh" and "ahh" in this thread, please keep all discussion in the official contest discussion thread. This will help keep the contest submission thread clean and will help prevent any influence on voters' decisions. Discussion found in this thread will be immediately moved to the discussion thread.

Thank you everyone for helping make this contest awesome!

Good luck!

All details in the video:

The worklog WIP for the system is HERE

The full worklog is on my Wordpress site, along with other tutorials, please have a look! This project (IntoGrafx) and previous one (IntoPlay) are on two sections - finished project and how-to guides on my site. That is to keep sections separate for modding the console system and also making the portable.

Please note - the Wordpress site has a limit of 35 users on at any one time, so if the site is busy, please try again in a few minutes!

I think this portable applies, as most of the work was done after Portable-Palooza '09 was started.
