Thanks for the feedback!
I found the Datamax case at a thrift shop. I frankenmodded the case. The toy is from a company called Kidz Delight. I believe this one is the 1st model. I used the 2nd model for my NOACp Delight (which is finished btw, just need to make a video).
Making/painting the case is always the most time consuming part of the build process for me, but also the most rewarding. I want my portables to look good. "You can put lipstick on a pig but it's still a pig" (I don't know if that saying is really relevant but it's fun to say)
Also I've changed my mind about the colors of the TigerShark. It's just going to be grey/white. It will still look slick!

It actually looked better before painting.

I agree, one color ftw.

Re: TigerShark SNESp work log
Well after working all morning and then taking an afternoon break to watch some golf I finally got the cart slot and RGB video working correctly tonight. I also got most of the controls wired.

close up of the video
I'm in the home stretch now but need to find some different batteries. The ones I purchased are not going to fit.
ps. One colour is boring.

its also clean and simple. you could at least tape it off again, cut clean edges with a razor and repaint. sorry but your paint job looks a little halfassed, especially for the quality of your caseworkthewizdawg wrote:Well after working all morning and then taking an afternoon break to watch some golf I finally got the cart slot and RGB video working correctly tonight. If u were you, I would paint over the black area for the speakers, or at least clean it up. I would also paint the gray boarder around the entire case, that would make it look a lot better.

Haha, see you found some plastic covers or sleeves for the capacitors on the SNES mini mobo. I just covered mine in hot glue to prevent shorts.

Yeah I had bought some heat shrink tubing from an auto parts store a while ago and just used that.
I should get the new batteries Wednesday and should finish up this weekend.
