The engadget comments on portables always make me rage. No one seems to understand.

Me too. They are there for commercial products to obsess over and buy, not to oogle handcrafted projects. Post something like that on Instructables however and you'll get an internet explosion...

especially like this
ROMs > Cartridges

You can back them up, your save data never goes corrupt (see "back them up"), they weigh less and they won't shut off when they're jostled too hard.

Oh, and the graphics are heavily, heavily upgraded with a multitude of filtering options. Build this with ROM capability and lose the cart slot and I'd pay top dollar.
Its like they don't even understand the concept of a portable.

yeah, I noticed, once I got a bunch of hate mail in my inbox. I'm pretty sure Digg is full of retards that are afraid they will amount to nothing in life (and probably do).

Engadget used about 14gb of bandwidth, Digg about 60.

Yeah, the comments on engadget were predictably stupid, but at least the first "get a PSP" comment was directed at the idiot who told him to use SD cards instead of original cartridges...

People need to read.

i hate noobs that post stupid comments, saying "it could be better". well, if they want it better, they should build one themselves.

Would you like a professional looking custom case for your portable? I may be able to help you. Check out this link:
