Re: The Afternoon projects thread.
Got bored last night, found a dead laptop in my closet with a DVD burner.
And uh, yeah, figured the right thing to do was to give it a new life.
The DVD Burner that is.
Or, uh, the "burner" part...
HOORAY TERRIBLE CELLPHONE PICS!
And yes, it can do the other usual stuff, lighting matches, cutting electrical tape, etc...
Shame we don't stock AAA batteries in this house, I already killed this pair

I'm up in the high 30's levels now, and it just keeps getting better. The controller is still working perfectly!

Those are my initials too... lol.

Re: The Afternoon projects thread.
I sanded and painted the Bangai-O controller. I think it came out pretty good for my first "frankencase". I wish I could paint as well as Customnesdude though.
I'm up to level 41, controller still working great!
to MikeyG: I am Mike Grimsley, way to go having such great initials too!

Re: The Afternoon projects thread.
That noise is your Worm Drive. I had this problem with my 360. It was making that noise a lot, wasn't reading discs, and the disc was still spinning when the tray came out. I opened it up, took apart the drive, cleaned all the dirt out, and moved the laser back and forth a few times. It works now, and only makes the noise on startup.
edit:
fail.. I go turn on my 360, put a game in, it shows up on the dashboard, but I go to play it, and its a black screen. epic fail. haha. Works with other games though.

my third backlight gameboy, second DMG one
Has another White backlight, a new on/off button I found thanks to J.D. and crappy phone pics make the screen look crappier then it is. In person it looks awesome, and not negative like in the photo. I took the best pic I had to post with
I have others feel free to ask for them, but they suck.

Re: PSP 4AA charger HOW TO GUIDE
so I guess 6v works fine through a PSP charger port? and any ideas on how long the psp will run off the 4 batteries alone? (I've heard that its not idea to charge a psp battery with aaa's (don't quote me on that)

Yobo FC inside video game case
I got a yobo fc from someone on the trading post that did not have a case.
So I made my own. Check it out. It's not the best job but I only had limited tools because my building is a mess and I plan on adding more leds to it to make it glow bright.

Seems like the news forums are not getting many posts whats up guys
