Mays was found dead by his wife in his Tampa home on June 28, 2009.[2][1][14] The Associated Press reported that there was no indications that the house had been broken into, and that police did not suspect foul play.[14]

That was ...... unexpected. wow. I always enjoyed his commercials, and his TV show. This just sucks.

When I use my mighty putty today, i will be doing it in honor of America's best pitchman.
rest in peace, Ronnie James Dio! \m/

I've always wanted him to get laryngitis for a long period of time, but not this :(

Apparently he was on a flight that had a rough landing yesterday afternoon. The Washington Post says the front tires blew, luggage fell out of the overhead bins, and something hit him in the head. My best guess is a subdural hematoma.

Wow. Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, Michael Jackson, and now Billy Mays. How many famous people are going to kick it this week?!

What about Anthony Sullivan? (You know, the other guy on Pitchmen / the Cillit Bang guy?)

Wow, this was unexpected. I used to love all his commercials. Pretty weird how all these celebrity deaths are so close together.

Wow, something about being 50 must make you more susceptible to sudden deaths.
RIP, Billy, we will always remember you and your voice.
After seeing Pitchmen, I had a new respect for him. The products he advertised were the ones he believed in, not just anything that would pay.

:( RIP Billy Mays

Also, I think Smosh's Billy Mays (Anthony from Smosh impersonating him, very poorly in the episode "A hairy situation"), could do a good job.
