I wish I lived in a city big enough, or at least close enough to one, to find these kinds of deals in all the time.
Your just not trying hard enough! the one day i have gone to garagesales this summer was in a town with a population of less than 700 people and i still found videogame stuff (bought an n64 for 5$ lol) and the "city" i usually go to sales in only has maybe 25,000 people tops

You're probably right. The city festival is coming up sometime in the next month, I'll also have fourth of july to go junking. There's another city festival in the next town over a month after the other one, but I'm going to be in Darwin, Minnesota for Twine Ball Days.

AES or MVS? Either way, that sounds like an awesome deal.

No garage sales this weekend, unfortunately, but I scored a set of wireless 3DO controllers, along with a wired Goldstar 3DO controller, for a dollar each at Play 'N' Trade today. A DOLLAR! I was shocked when I saw the price tags on them. I also picked up a sapphire blue VMU for $8 and a standard Dreamcast controller for another $5. My sister bought a black DMG and a copy of "Golf" for a total of $6, as well. They were even having a 10% off sale, who knows why. That's why I love Play 'N' Trade - I always find something awesome and they usually have some sort of promotion going on that I end up saving money with.

Also, I went to Radio Shack and bought myself a soldering iron and a desoldering iron (which I proceeded to burn myself with after I got home!), and a AAA battery holder (plan on replacing the rechargable button battery in the Dreamcast with two rechargable AAAs). I'll have to think up some good mods to do now! Then I bought a $20 PlayStation Store card and bought "Metal Gear Solid" and "Final Fantasy VII" with it.

I got two old-ish (2003 or so) computers today for free! One works, but I can't figure the other one out.

I also got a Samsung upconverting DVD player (with HDMI output)/VCR combo for five bucks because it was missing the remote! This should be far better than the piece of crap $60 Wal-Mart one I have now!
