After figuring out what was up I have to say you guys are just silly. I don't get why Triton can't hate people if he wants to. Also, I don't see why him not liking some guy should change his status as a mod at all.

And honestly, if this place is so bad modretro people then leave already.

I'm personally against it, we just appointed new moderators.

I barely post here any more but I agree on all points above. I remember bacteria singlehandedly trashing last year's competition (remember all the technicalities he just wouldn't drop)? And almost every time I visit this forum I see him matter-of-factly linking to his various external resources as if they are the one and only reference. It's not skirting on anything - it's blatant spam. When anyone tries to set him straight he goes off on some self-inflating rant which fills every thread with facepalm. He seems to rile up the whole community on a regular basis, like the longest running most surreptitious troll in benheck history. For this reason I wonder why he is still around. End rant 8)
I don't see anything wrong with it; why does it have to become a pick on bacteria thread?

It shouldn't. Please don't re-open that can of worms in this thread; that's not what it's here for.

The quotes in the original post are only there to present exactly why Triton's integrity as a moderator was called into question.

I've been lurking around these forums for quite a while now and I was holding off on registering until I had a worthy project, but I just have to voice my opinion on this matter. From what I have seen, Triton always posts in a professional manner and is a great moderator. I believe the entire "Anti-Bacteria banner" issue was blown out of proportion. Yes, both parties made certain mistakes during the whole incident but the point is Triton did indeed remove the banner and we are all human. I don't believe one little mistake should ruin Triton's entire moderation record. And as for the rest of the moderation team, I have experience in running a forum, so I've been in similar situations, and I believe the situation was handled very well overall considering all the facts. So, yes, I believe Triton should remain a moderator.

I have personally never seen Triton say anything disrespectful or mean. The fact that someone could provoke him to put something in his signature that shows he somewhat dislikes someone doesn't shine a bad light on him, but the person he dislikes.

I voted triton stay. I think if a moderator was doing something wrong, the others would catch it and would deal with it.

I haven't really commented on any of this for good reason, it's been blown out of proportion. I put up the logo not knowing that anyone (outside of those who had it) knew what it meant. I wasn't trying to be malicious in any way, and besides thinking I could quietly share an opinion with some friends, not a word was mentioned in any of the threads and I always posted constructively about bac's work and opinions.

I think things have been dealt with fairly by the mods and in this case, triton.

Can we get a TL;DR summary of this? I haven't been around in awhile, and have no idea whats going on.
