FS: Hotel N64 controllers/system
Moderator:Moderators
so one of the local hotels is having a liquidation sale and i got these N64 controllers from it. I remember there was some interest in them a while ago but i couldn't remember if anyone wanted them or not. One has the controller along with what looks like a control box(with power cord) and the other is just the controller. Im not sure what they are worth, if anything so let me know if anyone is interested. All parts in great condition and both joysticks are tight.

Scroll down heaps

really interesting piece of equipment, this could be a semi solution to running games off a hard drive or something,
Is there any chance you can buy the tv that came with it? because apparently thats where the n64 guts are.

Re: FS: Hotel N64 controllers/system
well im not sure what they are worth so please make offers or at least give me an estimate as to their value. Im not sure what the black Lodgenet box is that the controller plugs in to. Also these are untested since i have no way of testing them. If anyone knows how to test them without being at the actual hotel, please let me know. I cant gaurantee they work since they are untested, but they have just been sitting on the entertainment center in the hotel room since it closed so i don't see any reason why they wouldnt work. I am going to go back to the hotel tomorrow and see about the TVs that these were hooked into, but i believe they are already gone.

Re: FS: Hotel N64 controllers/system
I'd actually be interested in purchasing this, but Gannonbanned has dibs first,
The back of the TVs looks like this. Looks like the lodgenets connect to this weird board somehow.

if you do, you should take a few pics.

Re: FS: Hotel N64 controllers/system
when you are looking around at the controllers try and see if you can find any with the gamecube style analog stick, they do exist and I would really like to crack one open.

Re: FS: Hotel N64 controllers/system
It is to my knowledge that these would be worth a small mint to a collector seeings how these are quite rare nowadays. Just a little FYI for ya,
Re: FS: Hotel N64 controllers/system
well i went back today and grabbed another controller so i now have 3 controllers and 2 of the Lodgenet boxes. I also bought a tv and on the back is the phone jack just like on the controller so im thinkin it has the N64 guts inside it. no time to take it apart now but i will tonight and post what i find.
How about $25 for each controller? does that seem like a fair price? since nobody seems to know their approximate value.

I think if you steal the controller from a room they charge you $29.95

Re: FS: Hotel N64 controllers/system
If you can do $25 shipped for a controller, I am totally in.
Let this be the first dibs places on what is inside that TV.
