I know, but since they were cheap ass batterys for japan, i tought they might not have one, or simply be fake , or VERY dangerous (that's why i plugged them in the garage  )

Well, not a bad idea, but now i'm aiming for a multi-system portable (ps1 nes & genesis)

And i'm too much of a N00B....
Cheap ones from Japan=Don't worry
Cheap ones from China=Use a cheap extension cord and put them on your driveway.

if you're a n00b, don't attempt a PSone/NES/Genesis. you will fail.*

*By fail, I do not necessarily mean that it will be impossible, just very difficult. A system of this variety will likely be very thick and need a lot of extra parts to function. Go ahead and make it. Prove me wrong. I want you to. This would be epic if done right. Why are you still reading this??????? [/fine print]

If you are a noob, those are the IDEAL systems to start with. Well, not the ps1, but genesis and nes are really simple systems and are not entirely difficult to make portable. The only hard part is making a case to house the portable.

He's saying he shouldn't try to make an all-in-one portable. Any of those systems would be good to start with, but to combine them all and try to use one battery, one screen, and one set of controls is another matter entirely.

You shouldn't be worried about Li-ion because they are pretty safe.Just don't act like a moron. Li-Po s have way more power possibilities but they give a heck of a good fireworks show when you short them out or over charge them or worse, charge them with a Ni-Cd/Ni-MH charger. I joined an RC club and they had a little kid member a few years ago and he burnt his mom's house down by doing that. But if your afraid of Li-ion then I'd suggest chucking your IPhone/IPod in to the garbage can quickly.

You chuck IPod/IPhone quickly in to trach can.

IPod/IPhone Blows up and tears the garbage can to pieces. (You scream like a little girl) OH MY GOD. WTF?
I just forgot why I got online
